Our shared religious lifeOur Worship Service at North Shore Unitarian Universalists is the heart of our shared religious life. It is a time to share joys and concerns, to listen to inspiring music, to remind us of who we are and of our responsibilities to others, and to experience life from the depths of our souls. Contemporary and casualOur services are contemporary. Dress is casual. Our sanctuary is a restful open space, which is surrounded by large windows that allow us to appreciate the wonders of nature.
Order of serviceOur order of service includes inspirational music, readings, and a sermon. Our sermons are delivered by ministers and by lay leaders. Also we have special services throughout the year. We collect an offering to support our church mission and charitable work in our community. All visitors, friends, and members are welcome to donate at the offering, but do not need to do so.
Following the serviceEveryone is invited to stay for coffee, cookies, and conversation following the service. On special occasions a discussion group, an adult education class, or full church gathering follows the service. Often, we serve a full luncheon buffet in our outdoor garden; everyone who attends the service including all visitors are welcome to join us. |
We meet every Sunday
